We can find the Fleet Overview via Resources → Fleet.
1. Active Fleet
In Active Fleet, you’ll find all vehicles with status “Driving.”
You can easily locate specific vehicles or subsets by using filters.
For example, filter by supplier or include dehired vehicles if you need historic data.
2. Ending Contracts
The Ending Contracts view lists vehicles nearing contract expiration.
You can adjust the range to include contracts expiring within 6, 12, or 18 months, helping you plan upcoming orders.
💡 This view also shows if a new order has already been placed for a driver, and whether the expected delivery date aligns with the contract end date.
This helps identify cases requiring contract extensions or short-term rental solutions.
3. Ordered Vehicles
The Ordered Vehicles overview displays all vehicles currently on order.
Like the “Ending Contracts” view, it shows the driver’s current vehicle contract alongside new order details and end-of-contract dates, giving a clear comparison.
4. Pool Cars
The Pool Cars section lists vehicles available for shared or temporary use.
For example, Acme NV currently has two pool cars.
You can learn how to manage and book pool cars in this article.
5. Short-term Rentals
The Short-term Rentals view shows vehicles on temporary contracts.
It includes data about any new orders placed for employees currently using a rental vehicle — for example, a run-up car for new hires.
6. Parked Vehicles
“Parked” vehicles are active (status “driving”) cars not currently assigned to any driver.
They are typically located at the company parking lot.
This view helps identify available cars for new employees or reassignments.
✅ You now know how to use the Fleet Overview to monitor active vehicles, upcoming contract expirations, orders, rentals, and parked cars.
Headlight’s filters and categorized views make fleet management clear and proactive.
