🚗📋 Learn how to access your vehicles and assets in Headlight, review their details, and download related documents.

There are 2 quick ways to view your Vehicles and company assets in Headlight:
1) Via the links on the Home Page,
2) Via the Overview in the left menu.

We’ll explain both methods, and the different asset types. You can navigate to the relevant parts of the training with the links in the right panel on this Help page!

Via the Home Page

You can quickly access your cars and assets directly from the Home Page.

🏠 Open Headlight and go to the Home Page.
🚗 Go to My Cars to view your assigned vehicles.
Click a vehicle to open its details and related documents.
Headlight will take you to the Vehicle Details page.

Headlight will show you the info for the selected car. Further in the training, we’ll show you more options for the Vehicle Details page. Right now we’ll explain the second method to access Cars & Assets via the link on the left menu.

Cars & Assets Overview

The Cars & Assets module provides a complete overview of all mobility assets linked to your account.

📂 Open Cars & Assets from the My Mobility section in the left navigation:
- From the Home Page, or from any page in Headlight,
- Click ‘Cars & Assets’ in the main menu ‘My Mobility’ section in the left panel.
The Cars & Assets section has an easy overview for employees. Via the modules drivers have an insight into all cars & assets related to their company car and mobility.
🧠 Module names are designed to be clear and intuitive.
We’ll go over the modules one by one. We’ll start with My Vehicles but you can skip ahead to another part of the training.

Select the modules in the Headlight Cars & Assets page one by one, and follow along with the training. Refer back to the instructions in this section on how to navigate from the Home Page to the Cars & Assets Overview.

The My Vehicles section displays detailed information about each vehicle.

Select My Vehicles to open your vehicle list.
View details such as make, model, contract start, and end date.
See whether vehicles are ordered, active, or exited.
Click a vehicle to open its Vehicle Page.

Vehicle Page

Headlight will take you to the Vehicle Page, with all the relevant information.

You can access multiple Tabs in the Vehicle Page, for example the tab Personal contribution.
In the Personal Contribution tab, you will find a base calculation of Benefit in Kind for taxation, and any personal contribution according to your company’s policy.
Try out any of the other tabs with info on your car, like ‘Mileage‘.
Check the Last Reported Mileage in the Mileage Summary.
Note: Headlight’s access to your mileage data depends on energy card and/or leaser integrations and frequency of updates.

Proceed to the Documents tab to view and manage vehicle-related documents.

Vehicle Documents

Within the Vehicle Page:

📄 Open the Documents tab to view all documents that have been linked to your car and your driver account in Headlight.
Documents may include lease contracts, insurance files, or other supplier documents.
Click a document to preview it.
⬇️ Download the file once you’ve confirmed it’s the correct document.

My Energy Cards

Energy cards linked to your vehicle or your account are visible in Headlight.

⚡ Open My Energy Cards from the Cars & Assets overview.
Review details such as the card provider, status, and linked vehicle.

See Your Charging Assets

Charging assets are shown when applicable.

🔌 Open Charging Assets to view chargers linked to your account.
In the Charging Assets page, you’ll be able to view a list of related assets.
You can review the charging asset value, supplier, number and type.
Select a specific charging asset to see its details. (click on the row in the table)
Headlight will show you a page specific to your Charging Asset with details on supplier, address and Connectivity.

Review & Download My Documents

All personal and vehicle-related documents are grouped in My Documents.

📁 Open My Documents from the Cars & Assets module.
On the ‘My Documents’ page, you’ll find an overview of any files previously linked to one of your assets (vehicle, card) and your account.
In the overview table you can review the document name and upload date.
Preview files:
- Click the icon in the ‘action’ row to see available actions (download).
- Click ‘Download document’ from the pop up menu.
- Your document will open in your browser, from there you’ll be open to download it on your computer.
⬇️ Download documents to your device when needed.
