Finding an Existing Car
Explore how to locate a car in Configured Cars and understand its link to the Budget Policy and Filter Set.
Viewing the Car in the Configurator
- Use the Fleet Manager Car Configurator via the main navigation.
- Under View as, select a specific driver to review their car list.
- Check the linked car policy for the driver’s level.
- Click on a Brand to view available models and versions.
When you find a car in your list and want to edit it, you can change its options or linked budget.
Reviewing the Car List Budget Policy
Cars are connected to a driver’s level through the Car Budget Policy, which links a budget level to a Filter Set.
- Navigate from Configurator → Budget Policies.
- Select the relevant policy for car lists.
- Review that “Options catalog value” or similar is chosen as the Budget Component.
- Confirm that Lump Sum is selected for car list–based policies.
- Review each Budget Level and ensure it has a linked Filter Set.
- Open the link icon to view or edit filter sets.
- Adjust or confirm the linked Filter Set and click OK.
Remember to Save if changes were made.
Finding the Related Filter Set
- Car list–based policies use the Configured Cars filter set type.
- The car under review appears in this filter set, explaining its presence for the driver.
- To locate the actual car, go to Configured Cars.
Finding the Car in Configured Cars
- Follow navigation steps to reach the Configured Cars page.
- View all configured vehicles.
- Select the car to make quick edits or use it as a template for a new configuration.
Reviewing an Existing Car
Make small changes directly from the Configured Cars page.
Many edits can be done here without creating a new version.
- Optionally, link car dealer or leaser quotes.
- Review preselected and excluded options.
- Disable new options for drivers, if needed.
- Search and review standard equipment.
- Use Budget Usage Simulation to analyze results by driver level.
- Edit the Base Budget Price to affect driver contribution.

Use Car as Configuration Template
Save time by using an existing car as a starting point for a new version.
- Review disabled options (in red) and preselected options; adjust as needed.
- Add or change option packs or individual options.
- When done, click Connect a Budget.
- Link a budget for the new version of the car.

- Review budget calculations, catalogue price, options, discounts, colors, and selections.
- Your car is now added as a new version.
Replace the Car in the Filter Set
To make the new version visible to drivers, replace the old car in the Filter Set.
- Navigate to Filter Sets via the Configurator Menu.
- Search by brand, model, or version.
- Deselect the old car and select the new one.
- Note the Filter Set name for confirmation in the next step.
Filter Set Linked to Budget Level
If the linked Car Budget Policy is active, changes appear immediately in the Configurator.
Verify that the Filter Set linked to the driver’s budget level matches the one updated earlier.
- Confirm the link between Filter Set and Budget Level.
Once verified, the update is complete.
Check the Updated Driver View
Optionally preview what the updated car looks like for a driver level.
- Open the Fleet Manager Car Configurator.
- Select the driver name, then brand, model, and version.
