Closing an ongoing workflow and its associated tasks is a straightforward process. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through it:
- Navigate to Workflows: Start by going to the ‘Workflows’ section in your system.
- Access Workflow Operation: Within the Workflows section, find and select ‘Workflow Operation’, and then choose “Ongoing workflows”. This will display all the workflows that are currently active.
- Locate the Desired Workflow: Look through the list of ongoing workflows to find the one you wish to close. The list is at the bottom of the screen.
- Open Workflow Details:
- Click on the “process icon” (which resembles a flowchart) located to the right of the workflow you want to close. Alternatively, you can click on the workflow’s list entry and then select ‘Details’.
- This action will open a detailed view of the running workflow.
- Close the Workflow: In the top right corner of the detailed view page, you’ll find the “Close workflow” button. Clicking this button will terminate the workflow process.
- Confirmation for Task Handlers: After the workflow is closed, if anyone tries to access any open tasks associated with this workflow, they will see a notification stating “Request has closed”. This indicates that the task is no longer active due to the closure of the workflow.
