Learn how to quickly request an extension for a vehicle contract.
Requires an active Workflow for contract extensions.
Navigate to the Vehicle
- From the Home page, go to Resources → Vehicles.
- On the Vehicles page, locate the Contract End column to identify cars nearing the end of their contract.
- Click on a vehicle row to open its details page.
Tip: You can set up Workflows to automatically scan for vehicles near their contract end date. This example demonstrates how to request an extension manually.
Review the Vehicle Details
- Open the Vehicle Details tab.
- Check the Contract Period on the left side.
- If the contract end date is near or past today’s date, an extension can be requested.
- Ensure the Vehicle Status is driving — extensions can’t be requested once the car enters the return process.
Request the Contract Extension
- Click the Calendar icon next to the Contract Period field.
- Choose a new date using one of three methods:
- Type the date manually.
- Use the up/down ticker.
- Select the date via the calendar picker.
- You can navigate through months or change the year from the dropdown.
- Confirm your extension request.
Condition: You must have a Workflow for Contract Extension set up.

Verify the Request
- A green confirmation dialog will appear once the request is launched successfully.
- Go to Workflows in the main menu to review the execution.
- Open the corresponding Workflow visualization to track the steps taken.
To adjust Workflow configuration, click the Settings icon → Go to configuration.
