To manage legal entity information, go to Settings → Company Details.
Open the Company Details menu.
If additional legal entities appear in Headlight (e.g., from supplier reports), you can merge them as aliases of the correct legal entity.
This helps Headlight recognize which entity each record refers to.
Click “Merge” next to the legal entity that should become an alias of another.
Select the correct legal entity from the dropdown list.
Example: select ACME NV as the main entity, and add ACME SA as its alias.
✅ Done!
When you check ACME NV, you’ll now see “ACME SA” listed as an alias.
Repeat this process for all duplicate legal entities.
Some entities may be created based on supplier client numbers (e.g., “Total-XXXXX”).
Check your supplier platform or invoices to identify which legal entity corresponds to each.
✅ All done!
Your legal entity list is now cleaned, and all related names are properly linked as aliases.
Your resources will now contain only the valid legal entity names.
💡 Tip: Do this cleanup after supplier data exchanges are configured, and revisit periodically to keep data accurate.
